Elmer Robles

Elmer is a software architect from UC Berkeley. He designed secure communications for the F-22 Raptor while working for Hughes Radar Systems (now Raytheon.) In 1995, he developed a visual language to represent television contracts while working for DIRECTV (now AT&T Entertainment.) In 2003, he founded Encienda Sociedad Limitada to build intellectual property management systems for Ciudad de la Luz Studios. In 2007, he became the Program Manager at the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) responsible for reengineering the electronic trademark registration system. He is currently based in the Philippines operating a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company to manage Intellectual Property in Digital Single Markets.
